Ultimate Visual Effects

This course is the definitive learning tool for visual effects artisting working in Shake, Motion and Afterffects. The course will cover everything from practical commercial techniques to breakdowns of shots from blockbuster films. You will learn techniques from artists who created the light sabers for Star Wars: Episode 3, the 3D environment for the The Matrix, the matte paintings for The Lord of the rings and many more. Coverage includes 3D and 2D CG integration, modelling, animation, rendering, compositing, rotoscoping, tracking, lighting and advanced blue screening techniques.

Pre-Requisites: All students must have a good knowledge and experience of motion graphics and effects and already be able to use the applications to a good level.
