Snow Leopard Certification

Leading market research company NPD recently reported that "Sales during the first two weeks of Appleās Snow Leopard OS X release far exceed those of the last two Apple operating systems."
With an increasing install base the need for certified technicians increases too. For those who hold Leopard certifications, Snow Leopard Update exams are available for ACTC and ACSA. If you hold the Leopard ACSP certification then you can simply sit the ACSP 10.6 examination.
Mac OS X 10.5 to v10.6 Upgrade Path
- ACSP 10.5 - take the Mac OS X Support Essentials v10.6 Exam
- ACTC 10.5 - take the ACTC 10.6 Recertification Exam
- ACSA 10.5 - take the ACSA 10.6 Recertification Exam
For delegates with existing 10.5 certifications
To assist our customers with recertification we have devised a cost effective upgraqde course to assist 10.5 Certified Support Professionals and Technical Co-ordinators to update their certifications and learn about the new features and ways of working within Snow Leopard and Snow Leopard Server.
We are please to annouce that our first upgrade courses will be in January. 1 day for ACSP and 3 days for ACTC
For new delegates or holders of 10.4 certifications or older
The standard OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard Certification Track is very similar to that of Leopard OS X 10.5.

Apple Certified System Administrator
Snow301: Mac OS X Directory Services Course & Examination

Snow303: Mac OS X Security and Mobility Course & Examination
The above Mac OS X Security and Mobility Course and Exam will replace the previous Leopard401: Advanced Systems Admin.
With the introduction of Snow Leopard Apple Worldwide Training will also be releasing a new certification: Apple Certified Specialist. This certification will be discipline specific, for people who have passed their ACTC qualifications and go on to take one of the ACSA level exams. i.e. someone who is ACTC qualified and then passes Snow301 exam, they would be awarded Apple Certified Specialist - Directory Services.
